The Indominus Rex was a genetically engineered hybrid dinosaur, created by InGen for Jurassic World. It was largely responsible for the 2015 Jurassic World Incident.
It's DNA would later be recovered by the Lockwood Foundation from the Jurassic World Lagoon and used to create the Indoraptor, a dinosaur with militarised intent.
