Owen Grady is a former member of the US Navy. He was recruited by InGen Security as part of Project I.B.R.I.S. and was working as an Animal Trainer on Isla Nublar during the 2015 Jurassic World Incident.
Following the Incident, he began a short-lived relationship with Claire Dearing, before leaving to start a new life in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He was later recruited by Dearing during the 2018 Isla Nublar Crisis to join a joint mission between the Dinosaur Protection Group and the Lockwood Foundation to rescue as many of the surviving dinosaurs as possible from Isla Nublar.
