Stygimoloch was a species of herbivorous pachycephalosaurid that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. It was resurrected by InGen through the process of De-Extinction and exhibited at Jurassic World on Isla Nublar until its abandonment in 2015.
It was one of several species rescued from the island in 2018 after Mt. Sibo became active and threatened their existence.

Along with all the other species still alive on Isla Nublar in 2018, the Stygimoloch was in great risk of going extinct again after the island's dormant volcano, Mt. Sibo became active. At least one Stygimoloch was captured by the Lockwood Foundation and transported onboard the Arcadia to the Lockwood Estate in California.
