Hap was an animal and security expert hired by Tiff and Mitch to accompany them to Isla Nublar shortly after the Jurassic World Incident to hunt the island's resident dinosaurs. During their stay, they encountered the kids of Camp Cretaceous. Whilst initially standoffish towards the kids, he turned on his employers and tried to help the kids escape the island eventually sacrificing himself to a trio of Baryonyx so Brooklynn, Kenji Kon and Ben Pincus could escape.
