The San Diego Incident was the name given to the infamous Tyrannosaur breakout in San Diego in 1997. The Tyrannosaur was being transported from Isla Sorna to San Diego by InGen, however as the animal had been over tranquillised an antagonist was administered to prevent the animal from dying. This resulted in the animal waking up mid-journey and escaping from capture. It was eventually recaptured by Ian Malcolm and his girlfriend Sarah Harding after great loss of life.
