She, along with her boyfriend of the time Alan Grant, were invited to Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar to inspect the theme park following the Isla Nublar Incident. However an act of industrial sabotage crippled the park's security systems and allowing all of the animals to escape. She aided in restoring power to the park in order to evacuate the remaining survivors.
