Owen Grady's Cabin is the homestead of Owen Grady located in Sierra Nevada mountains. He began construction on it following the abandonment of his first cabin on Isla Nublar. This was interrupted by Grady's involvement in the Isla Nublar Crisis in 2018, but resumed and completed before 2022 when Grady, Claire Dearing and Maisie Lockwood took residence there.
History
After the Fall of Jurassic World, Owen Grady briefly dated Claire Dearing but separated due to their numerous differences. Grady then set off into the Sierra Nevada mountains to build his new homestead.
Isla Nublar Crisis
By 2018, the foundations and main structure of the cabin were complete. At the suggestion of Eli Mills, Dearing would travel to Owen's new cabin to recruit him for a joint expedition between the Dinosaur Protection Group and the Lockwood Foundation to rescue the endangered animals on Isla Nublar. Arriving at the cabin, she found Owen up a ladder working on the roof. After an awkward reintroduction, the pair then left to discuss further at a local bar. Initially reluctant to accompany Dearing on her mission, Owen returned to his cabin where, after watching archive videos of Project I.B.R.I.S. he had a change of heart.
Later, while held captive at the Lockwood Estate by Eli Mills, Owen reassured Claire that they would escape as he had a cabin to finish.

The lakes and mountains were composited into exterior shots of the cabin in Post-Production.
