Billy Brennan was an associate professor of paleontology and dig site manager. He was working with Alan Grant in 2001 when he was approached by the Kirby family about a tour of Isla Sorna. Along with Grant he was coerced under false pretences and eventually stranded on the island along with the family who were in fact searching for their son, Eric Kirby who had become stranded on the islands 8 weeks previously. He later attempted to sacrifice his life for the others, to amend for stealing Velociraptor eggs, but survived and was rescued by members of the armed forces.
