Udesky was a mercenary hired by Paul and Amanda Kirby to rescue their son Eric after he became stranded on Isla Sorna in 2001. After crash landing on the island, Udesky lost his life to a pack of Velociraptors.

In earlier drafts of the screenplay, Udesky (named Tom Udesky) was Paul Roby's deft pilot. His death largely matches Nash's fate from the final film.
