Summary
Caption: So here we go! This film kind of jumps the time line, but Spielberg once told me that this image should always be the leading page of my portfolio. This model of the T-Rex being captured was a study of an idea I was kicking around the Jurassic Park: Lost World art department with some of the other artists. Production designer Rick Carter (Who currently designed James Cameron's AVATAR) presented it to Steven along with a sequence storyboarded by Matt Codd.
