Stegosaurus was a species of herbivorous thyreophora that lived during the Late Jurassic period. It was one of the species brought back to life by InGen through the process of De-Extinction. It was planned to be exhibited at Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar before its abandonment but would eventually go on to be exhibited at Jurassic World until it was also abandoned in 2015.

It was one of several species rescued from the island in 2018 after Mt. Sibo became active and threatened their existence.
