The Indominus Rex Paddock was an upcoming attraction at Jurassic World on Isla Nublar and home to the Indominus Rex. In 2015, the Indominus managed to hide itself from the paddock's thermal cameras, luring several park workers into the paddock and allowing it to escape.

The paddock was abandoned along with the rest of the park and likely destroyed by Mt. Sibo's eruption in 2018.

History

With the Indominus growing larger than initially anticipated, the Asset Containment Unit insisted the height of the paddock's Walls be increased.

The Jurassic World Incident

Layout and Facilities

The Indominus Rex Paddock (officially designated Paddock 11) was located in Sector 6, the Restricted Area at the north of Jurassic World. Though it would have eventually been adapted as an attraction for the park, in 2015 it was still under construction and solely used as a containment pen for the Indominus Rex. The reinforced concrete walls formed a hexagon, with a large access gate on one wall, and a viewing area on another.
