This scene was partially restored in an exclusive broadcast of the film on Fox in 1998 as part of a deal between Universal Pictures and Fox.

Mombassa Bar

This scene was completely restored in an exclusive broadcast of the film on Fox in 1998 as part of a deal between Universal Pictures and Fox.

Alternate Rope Climb

In an alternate version of scenes 103, 105 and 107 after Eddie throws the rope down to Ian, Sarah and Nick, it becomes stuck on a table up above them. Nick climbs up to free it a throws it down to Ian and Sarah. The rest of the sequence plays out similarly to the final cut, with only Ian and Sarah sliding down the rope out of the bottom of the trailer and having to climb back up.

Filming of this scene took place on Day 31 of production.
