The Gyrosphere was a custom ride vehicle used at Jurassic World in the Gyrosphere Valley. Designed as a spherical glass shell with a motorised core, it allowed rides to self navigate in two-axis by means of a joystick on the center console.

They were abandoned with the rest of the park following the Jurassic World Incident in 2015 and likely all destroyed following the eruption of Mt Sibo in 2018.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Pre-Production

Concept art for the destroyed Gyrospheres was created by Greg Fangeaux. A total of 6 destroyed Gyrospheres were constructed for use in the film, cast in foam and built around metal armatures that could be individually bent to give each Gyrosphere a unique damaged look.
