The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a 1997 science fiction adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg. It is the second installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. The screenplay was written by David Koepp and loosely based off Michael Crichton's 1995 novel The Lost World.
The film centers around the fictional island of Isla Nublar where John Hammond and the company of InGen have setup a park that hosts cloned dinosaurs.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park was followed by Jurassic Park III.
